⚠️ Data Deletion & Account Removal
As required by Google Play Console policies, if you wish to delete your PartyPlates account and all associated personal data, you can do so directly within the app or submit a request online via our
Account Deletion Request Portal.
1. Introduction
PartyPlates ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website.
2. Information We Collect
- Personal Information: Name, phone number, and email address when you register or log in.
- Location Data: Precise GPS location to auto-fill delivery addresses. This is requested at checkout only.
- Financial Information: Wallet balance, transaction history, and payment method preferences. We do not store full card details — payments are processed via Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant).
- Order History: Details of combos ordered, vendors contacted, event dates, and delivery addresses.
- Usage Data: App interactions, screens visited, and preferences (e.g., Wishlist).
- Device Information: Device type, OS version, and FCM notification token for push notifications.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your PartyPlates account.
- To process orders and coordinate with catering vendors.
- To send order status notifications and updates.
- To process payments and maintain your wallet balance securely.
- To improve app performance and user experience.
- To send promotional offers (only with your consent).
4. Sharing of Information
We share your information only with:
- Vendors: Your name, phone, delivery address, and order details are shared with the assigned caterer to fulfill your order.
- Razorpay: Payment processor. Subject to Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase / Google: We use Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging) by Google. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudinary: Image storage for vendor and combo images.
We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Location Data
Location access is used solely to auto-detect your delivery address during checkout. We do not track your location in the background. You can deny location permission and enter your address manually.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time from Profile → Security → Delete Account in the Android app, or directly via our web portal at PartyPlates Account Deletion Portal. Upon deletion request, all personal data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including Firebase Security Rules, encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), and PCI-DSS compliant payment processing via Razorpay.
8. Children's Privacy
PartyPlates is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Your Rights
- Access your personal data through the app Profile section.
- Correct your information from Profile settings.
- Delete your account and all associated data.
- Opt out of promotional notifications.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the app and on this page with a revised effective date.
