1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the PartyPlates mobile application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

PartyPlates is a platform that connects customers with local catering vendors for event-based food combo bookings. We facilitate the discovery, booking, and payment process. PartyPlates does not directly provide catering services — we are a marketplace intermediary.

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use PartyPlates.
You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
One account per person is permitted.

4. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@partyplates.com. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Ordering & Bookings

Orders are subject to vendor availability on the selected event date.
A booking is confirmed only after successful payment and vendor acceptance.
Minimum order advance: 25% of total order value is charged at booking.
Remaining balance is due as per vendor's payment schedule.
Vendors reserve the right to reject orders with a full refund to the customer's wallet.

6. Payments

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant).
The PartyPlates Wallet can be topped up and used for partial or full payments.
Wallet funds are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash.
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

Customer-initiated cancellations may be subject to cancellation fees as per the vendor's policy.
If a vendor rejects an order, a full refund is credited to your PartyPlates Wallet within 24 hours.
Refunds to original payment method (UPI/Card) may take 5–7 business days.
No refunds are provided after the event date has passed.

8. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors registered on PartyPlates are independent businesses. PartyPlates is not responsible for:

The quality, taste, or presentation of food.
Vendor delays or failure to deliver.
Any allergies or dietary concerns not communicated to the vendor.

However, we encourage users to report issues via our support system for mediation.

9. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

Place fraudulent or fake orders.
Misuse the referral or wallet system.
Post false reviews or ratings.
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, design, and technology within PartyPlates are the intellectual property of PartyPlates. You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce any part without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

PartyPlates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific transaction in question.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi, India.

13. Amendments

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
